The IFJ is campaigning to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists. The campaign aims to hold governments and de facto governments accountable for their record on tackling impunity and to denounce all crimes targeting journalists that remain unpunished. This campaign will also mark the UN Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists on 2nd November.

According to IFJ statistics, 73 journalists have lost their lives carrying out their duties since the beginning of the year . Today, only one in 10 killings of journalists results in a conviction.

This year the campaign will run from 2 to 23 November and will focus on Afghanistan, Malta, Mexico, DRC, and Yemen.

IFJ je u kampanji za Okončanje nekažnjivosti za zločine protiv novinara. Kampanja ima za cilj da vlade i de facto vlade postanu odgovorne za evidenciju u borbi protiv nekažnjivosti i da osude sva krivična djela nad novinarima koja ostaju nekažnjena. Ovom kampanjom obilježava se Dan UN-a i na dan 2. novembra se potencira na kampanji za Okončanje nekažnjivosti za zločine protiv novinara .

Prema statistikama IFJ-a, 73 novinara je izgubilo život, obavljajući svoje dužnosti od početka godine. Samo jedno od 10 ubistava novinara, rezultiralo je osudom.

Ove godine kampanja će trajati od 2. do 23. novembra i fokusiraće se na Avganistan, Maltu, Meksiko, DRC i Jemen.
